Headwaters was a true journey discovering Alabama rivers. I learned a lot about free-flowing rivers, how beautiful and valuable they are, and how difficult it can be to secure protection for them. Each trip was a journey discovering the mystery of a river, puzzling over the geology, moving at the speed of the current and following the light around the bend.
